Olympus zaprezentował następce modelu E-420. Aparat o numerze E-450 nie wiele rożni się od modelu E-420. Zdecydowano się na wprowadzenie do aparaty, w porównaniu do modelu E-420 zaledwie kilku niewielkich zmian.

 Skoncentrujemy się tyko na wymienieniu zasadniczych zmian między aparatami. Przede wszystkim dodano do aparatu wiele filtrów. PopArt wzbogacający kolory, dzięki któremu zdjęcia SA bardziej żywe. Filtr zwiększający ostrość, oraz filtr fotografii otworkowej. Ten ostatni usuwa jasność z peryferii kadru i daje efekt fotografowania przez małą dziurkę
